211 Nunavut was launched at the end of 2020 through the Emergency Community Support Fund of the Government of Canada.
211 is the information and referral service that connects residents of Nunavut to critical human, social, community and government support. 211 helps you navigate the complex network of government and community programs and services to find the help you need in your unique situation. This service is 100% free and confidential.
This website is the public online version of the database used by 211 Community Resource Navigators for the 211 telephone service. This up-to-date, accessible, searchable database provides comprehensive access to information about social, community, health and government services in Nunavut. This website complements our telephone service, and if you are unable to find the information you need, just dial 2-1-1 any time to speak with a Community Resource Navigator.

- Kamatsiaqtut is available to help people help themselves by offering a telephone listening/counselling service for Nunavummiut and other Northerners, as well as southerners who want to speak with the north. - NTI coordinates and manages Inuit responsibilities set out in the Nunavut Agreement and ensures that the federal and territorial governments fulfill their obligations.

- United Way Centraide Canada provides guidance and support to all United Ways and Centraides across the country. 211 Nunavut is part of the Canada-wide 211 service network created by United Way Centraide Canada to provide information and referral services to Canadians, no matter where they live or where they need help.

- CMHA-ER provides management of the 211 Nunavut database of resources and the 24/7 Contact Centre. Their team of Community Resource Navigators are highly trained in responding to Information and Referral requests and Crisis Intervention.

In an Emergency:
In an emergency, call the local RCMP detachment immediately. An emergency is any situation that requires immediate assistance from the police, fire department or paramedics. Examples include:
- A fire
- A crime, especially if in progress
- A car crash, especially if someone is injured
- A medical emergency, such as someone who is unconscious, gasping for air or not breathing, experiencing an allergic reaction, having chest pain, having uncontrollable bleeding, or any other symptoms that require immediate medical attention
